terms of service
who offers the sessions
these terms form the agreement between you and Maya (the “host”), who offers and runs these live online sessions. the host uses Holdspace, software operated by DRMAMU LLC, USA, for bookings, payments, emails and the affiliate program. Holdspace is not a party to the agreement between you and the host and does not run the sessions. payments are processed by Stripe on the host’s behalf.
by buying a ticket or a membership, joining a session or taking part in the affiliate program, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. you must be at least 18 years old to take part.
what the sessions are
the sessions are live group sessions on zoom that you join from your home. the host guides each session, and you take part in your own space, with your camera on or off as you prefer. the host does not supervise you physically and cannot see or check everything you do during a session.
not medical treatment - your health, your risk
the sessions are not medical treatment, and they are not a substitute for therapy or medical care. nothing in them is medical, psychological or other professional advice. the sessions can include physical activity, breathwork and intense emotional experiences.
you take part entirely at your own risk and on your own responsibility. by taking part, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to do so. you alone decide whether an exercise is right for you, and you stop, rest or seek help whenever you need to. if you have, or might have, a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, epilepsy or asthma, if you are pregnant, or if you have an injury, a mental-health condition or any other condition that physical exertion, breathwork or emotional intensity could affect, please consult a doctor or another qualified professional before joining, and do not join against their advice.
to the fullest extent permitted by law, neither the host nor DRMAMU LLC (Holdspace) is liable for any injury, harm, loss or damage, whether physical, emotional, psychological or financial, that arises from your participation, from the instructions given, from your surroundings, from technical problems or from your use of the platform. this does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law, and it does not affect the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
your space & safety
you are responsible for your own environment. please make sure that you have enough space to move, a safe floor and nothing you could trip over or bump into, and keep the volume at a level that protects your hearing. please do not take alcohol or drugs before or during a session, and if you feel unwell at any point, stop and rest.
tickets & prices
a ticket is for one person and for the one session it was bought for, and you cannot move it to another date yourself. the price of a ticket depends on when you book (super early bird, early bird or regular) and is always shown before you pay. discount codes and the friend discount are applied as shown at checkout. if the host moves a session to another date, your ticket moves with it, and you will be informed by email.
group tickets & friends’ emails
when you buy tickets for friends, each ticket belongs to the email address you enter for that friend. each address must be different, and none of them can be your own, because every ticket is for one person. please only enter the email addresses of people who are happy to be invited.
memberships
the host may offer one or more memberships. each membership includes the sessions described with it, for example every session or only certain kinds of sessions, together with anything the host adds to it, such as 1:1 sessions each month. a membership renews automatically every month from the date of your first payment until you cancel it.
free trial. a membership may start with a free trial, once per person. you enter your payment details at the start; when the trial ends, the membership continues automatically at its monthly price, and the first payment is taken then. if you cancel before the trial ends, nothing is charged. you receive an email reminder a few days before the trial ends.
cancelling. you can cancel your membership at any time in your account. it will then not renew, and you keep access until the end of the month you have paid for.
switching. you can switch between memberships in your account. an upgrade starts right away, and the difference for the rest of the current month is charged at once. a downgrade is saved and takes effect at the end of the current paid month; until then, you keep the membership you have.
price. your monthly price stays the same while your membership runs, unless the host informs you of a change at least 30 days before it applies, in which case you can cancel before the change takes effect.
1:1 sessions
the host may offer 1:1 sessions with you alone, sold as packages of one or more sessions (or included in a membership, for each month you have it). after you pay, you and the host agree on the dates together. each date is confirmed by email, and your personal zoom link is on your live page from 1 hour before. if you can’t make an agreed date, please let the host know as early as possible; a session missed without notice may count as used. the sessions of a package can be used for 6 months from the purchase; sessions not used by then expire.
refunds & cancellations
tickets and membership payments are non-refundable. you can cancel a membership at any time; it then won’t renew, and you keep access until the end of the month you have paid for.
if the host has to cancel a session, your ticket is moved to another session or refunded.
recording
the sessions are live. please do not record, photograph or take screenshots of a session or of other participants yourself, and do not share or reuse any part of a session. your access to the sessions is personal and must not be shared. if the host records a session, you will be notified beforehand.
content & respect
the host is responsible for any content they use in a session. treat fellow participants and the host with respect. the host may remove anyone who is abusive or disrupts a session, without a refund.
affiliate program
the affiliate program is operated by Maya through Holdspace. anyone with an account can take part: you share your personal link, the people you bring receive 10% off, and you earn a commission.
eligibility and attribution. a person counts as yours when they follow your personal link and then pay within 60 days. if they follow several affiliate links before their first payment, the last link counts, and after their first payment they stay with that affiliate for good. if someone switches browser or device or types the address by hand, the purchase may not be credited to you. you cannot earn commission on your own purchases.
commission. you earn 20% of what the people you brought pay (with their affiliate friend discount added back), for every ticket and 1:1 package they buy and for every month they stay a member. when a payment is refunded, the commission on it is taken back.
payout. a commission becomes payable after a hold period of 15 days, which covers failed payments, refunds and disputes. once your payable balance has reached $30 and you have requested a payout by email, the host pays you directly by PayPal, Wise or Revolut, to the payout details you enter on your affiliate page. payouts are made in the host’s currency (USD); if your account is in a different currency, any conversion fees are yours. a smaller balance carries over. Holdspace only tracks commissions and does not pay or hold them. you are responsible for any tax on your earnings.
tracking. your affiliate page shows the people you brought, your commissions and your balance at any time. tracking relies on software and cookies, and neither the host nor Holdspace is responsible if a purchase is missed or tracked incorrectly; in case of a dispute, the platform’s records are decisive.
fair play. spam, fake accounts, self-referrals, misleading advertising and advertising on the host’s name are not allowed. commissions earned in such a way are void, and the host can exclude anyone from the program.
changes and end. the host may change the numbers of the program or end it at any time. commissions earned until then remain yours, and a payable balance above the minimum will still be paid out. taking part is at your own risk, and there is no promise of earnings.
the platform
Holdspace is provided “as is”. neither the host nor Holdspace promises that the platform, zoom, payments or emails always work, are fast or are free of errors. a session, a reminder or a link may be delayed or fail because of the internet, zoom, Stripe, email or the platform itself, and in that case the host will do what is reasonable, for example offer another date. to the fullest extent permitted by law, DRMAMU LLC (Holdspace) is not liable to you for the sessions or anything arising from them, because your agreement for the sessions is with the host, nor for interruptions of the platform. the limitations in the section “not medical treatment” above apply here as well.
privacy
how your personal data is handled is described in the privacy policy. you can ask the host to delete your personal data at any time.
changes & contact
the host may update these terms from time to time. material changes are announced by email or on this page and apply to bookings made after the change. a running membership continues under the updated terms unless you cancel it within 30 days of being informed of the change. should any clause of these terms be invalid, the remaining clauses remain in force. if you have any questions, please write to maya@example.com.
